JENNY BASSETT

Meet Jenny

Australian-born and a mother, Jenny’s work is shaped by lived experience, including profound personal loss, major life transitions, and displacement during the Pacific Palisades fires. These experiences inform her trauma-aware, relationship-based approach to healing, nervous system regulation, and restoration.

Animals have been Jenny’s teachers since childhood. Years later, in the quiet presence of horses, she found a pathway back to embodiment, regulation, and connection. At Galactic Center she works alongside a grounded liberty herd of seven, offering equine-guided experiences.

Since 2019, Jenny has partnered with horses as co-facilitators in experiential learning and empowerment programs. She is a certified Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) facilitator and a TRH mastery practitioner in equine-guided empowerment and somatic reprogramming. Her work centers on quiet attunement, relational presence, and deep listening to the horse, to nature, and to the subtle intelligence within each person.

Jenny is deeply committed to supporting both people and animals to experience freedom and well-being. She guides individuals to trust the awareness of their whole being and to reconnect with life through the steady wisdom and presence of the horses.

Prior to her work at Galactic Center, Jenny led global humanitarian and philanthropic initiatives, including campaigns supporting women affected by war, conflict, and displacement. Her education from NYU in communications and classics and experience in philanthropy continue to inform her compassionate, integrative approach to equine-guided healing.
